When Cold Laser light is shined on damaged tissue it triggers a biological response. This causes stimulation of the immune, lymphatic,  vascular, and neural systems. The end result of the stimulation is reduced inflamation, pain, swollen tissues and faster healing. There are no harmful side effects as with medications.  State-of-the-art biostimulation laser equipment is used for the treatment process.  Effects of the low level laser energy trigger normal cellular function.  By normalizing the tissue environment, pain can be reduced and eliminated allowing for easier movement from the patient.  How does biostimulation work?  The effects of low level laser energy are to trigger normal cellular function.  During times of injury, wounds or post surgical dysfunction, cellular function is compromised.  The introduction of laser (Light Amplification by Stimulated Emission of Radiation) stimulates physiological changes at the cellular level including changes in cell membrane permeability, increased ATP level, and DNA production.  All of these responses contribute to resolve inflammation, reduce and eliminate pain, enhance tissue repair, and contribute to the overall compliance of the patient to supervised movement earlier and with ease.
